Promote on your local radio station.

Most radio and tv stations offer free community calendar PSAs (Public Service Announcements) So the first step is to write a PSA and submit it via a letter on your stationary or email (usually the station's website will give you instructions on how they accept PSA's)

But if you really want to get the community excited consider purchasing some ads or better yet, invite the radio station to be a co-sponsor of the event in return for promotional consideration. there are a lot a reasons why a radio station might want to partner with you - public relations, an opportunity to have their on air personalities involved and visible at the concert and for the tax benefit of donating advertising to a non-profit.

If you will send Morning Song the name and address (include as much information as you can, like their website, genre of music, station manager, wattage, etc.) we will mail them a Christmas Tour Compilation CD for them to place in their music rotation. Then if they need to make an radio spot, they will have our music and some background tracks for background music for their announcer.
